Todd MillerTodd Miller joins the Pride of the Diamond staff with an extensive baseball background.

Miller is a local product having graduated from Parkland HS in 1987 and continuing his education and baseball career at Temple University where he graduated in 1992 with a bachelor of science in sports management and later earned his Masters of Education from Temple in 1996.

His playing career consists of varsity action at Temple University from 1987-90 where he was Atlantic 10 Pitcher of the Week twice and continuing with stints in the Cape Cod League in 1989, drafted by the Boston Red Sox in 1990, playing in the Gulf Coast League (1990), the New York Penn League with Elmira (1991), Florida State League with Winter Haven (1992) and in the Carolina League with Lynchburg (1993).

Miller is currently employed by Southern Lehigh school district as a science teacher and has been the head coach of the high school baseball team since 1999. His brightest season with the Spartans came in 2006 when he led Solehi to the Colonial League and District XII titles with a final record of 24-2. For his efforts he was named the Colonial League and Morning Call Coach of the Year in 2006.
